Recipe: 'Simple Cheeseburger'
Ingredients
- 400g ground beef
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 2 slices of cheese (Cheddar or American)
- 2 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- 2 slices of tomato
- Pickles (optional)
- Ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form the mixture into two equal patties.
- Heat a frying pan or grill over medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip them.
- Place a slice of cheese on each patty after flipping and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the meat is cooked to your liking.
- Toast the burger buns in the same pan for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patty with cheese on the bottom half of each bun, topped with lettuce, tomato, and pickles if desired.
- Add ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise as preferred, then cover with the top half of the bun.
- Serve immediately.
