Ingredients

  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 100ml water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 150g minced chicken or pork
  • 50g finely chopped mushrooms
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour and salt. Gradually add water until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  2. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, combine minced meat, mushrooms, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic to make the filling.
  4. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a thin circle.
  5. Place a small spoonful of filling in the centre of each circle. Fold in half and pleat the edges to seal.
